About       Project 01       Project 02       Project 03
As part of an independent curatorial project at RIT, I developed and installed an exhibition showcasing fashion garments created by students and local designers inspired by the Vignellis’. To inform the curatorial approach, I conducted research at the Vignelli Center for Design Studies, examining archival materials related to exhibition design, layout strategies, and the Vignellis’ use of structure and visual clarity. I applied these design principles in planning the exhibition layout and integrating interactive elements that invited audience engagement. I curated the final selection of student work, developed a detailed project timeline, and led the physical installation of the garments and accompanying materials. This experience strengthened my curatorial skills in exhibition planning and spatial design, while also deepening my appreciation for how archival research can shape contemporary curatorial practice.
